Common questions

Which WHMCS versions are supported?
TivroKYC is compatible with WHMCS 8.x and above. It uses the standard WHMCS addon module system and integrates with the client portal using standard WHMCS hooks.
Does liveness detection require a special server or GPU?
No. The face detection ML models run entirely in the client's browser using WebGL — no server processing required. Your hosting server only stores the uploaded files and selfie capture.
Can I disable liveness and just collect documents?
Yes. From admin settings you can completely disable the liveness step — the wizard will start directly at the document upload steps. You can also set it as optional so clients can skip it.
How are uploaded documents stored?
Documents are stored securely on your own server within the WHMCS directory structure. No files are transmitted to any third-party service — your client data stays entirely on your infrastructure.
Is the license for one WHMCS installation or multiple?
The $79.99 lifetime license covers a single WHMCS installation. Contact us at tivro.net if you need multi-installation licensing.
What happens to a client's services when KYC is approved?
Everything activates automatically — hosting, licenses, domains, and addons all switch to Active. For services that were held before provisioning, ModuleCreate runs to create them on the server. For previously suspended services, ModuleUnsuspend restores them. The order status also updates to Active.
Does it work with all WHMCS product types including licenses?
Yes. TivroKYC covers all items stored in tblhosting (hosting, licenses, "other" type products), tblhostingaddons (service addons), and tbldomains (domains). For modules that don't support suspend/unsuspend — like custom license modules — it falls back to direct database updates so nothing breaks.
Can I require KYC only for specific products, not all orders?
Yes. From the admin settings you can either require KYC for all products or enter specific product IDs. Clients ordering non-KYC products can checkout normally, while KYC-required products are blocked until verification is complete.
